Hello again!
Welcome to
a place where I can
express myself a bit more.
a place where I can
express myself a bit more.
When I'm not pushing my limits under the barbell, I'm out there exploring new horizons - both on well-worn trails and those less traveled. Lately, I've been falling in love with hiking, feeling that soul-stirring mix of challenge and serenity.
Between adventures, you'll find me lost in the rhythm of poetry or swept up in the magic of cinema. And just when things feel comfortable? That's my cue to shake things up and try something completely new, like filmmaking just recently.
Traveling
I believe that life's most enriching experiences emerge from embracing the unfamiliar and stepping out of one's comfort zone.
I constantly seek new adventures that challenge my perspectives and push my boundaries, finding joy in exploring uncharted territories both within myself and across the globe.
Reading
Books are my cherished companions, offering a warm embrace of endless possibilities.
In their pages, I find a cozy nook
where my imagination roams free, where I can curl up with fascinating
stories, and where wisdom gently unfolds. With each turn of a page, I'm
invited to step into new lives, feeling the heartbeats of characters as
if they were my own.
Some of my all-time favorite books:
Nineteen Eighty-Four - George Orwell
Ngoi Khoc Tren Cay - Nguyen Nhat Anh
21 Lessons for the 21st Century - Yuval Noah Harari
A Thousand Splendid Suns - Khaled Hosseini
Thinking, Fast and Slow - Daniel Kahneman
Hiking
Each hike deepens my appreciation for this newly-formed hobby.
The more I venture out on trails, the
more I
discover the simple joys and profound impacts of connecting with nature
on foot, and chatting with friends.
Some of the trails I've done in the past:
Dandenong Ranges Loop
Yarra Bend Park Loop
Albert Park Lake
Cinema
I have always been captivated by the power of crafting stories through a cinematic len.
It's the art of creating memories that
will echo through generations, capturing snippets of history, and
piecing together the puzzle of who we are or once were. This visual
storytelling isn't just a passion — it's a way of leaving a lasting
imprint on the world.
Some of my all-time favorite films:
Past Lives (2023) - Celine Song
Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022) - Daniel Scheinert, Daniel
Kwan
Love, Rosie (2014) - Christian Ditter
The Tale of the Princess Kaguya (2013) - Isao Takahata
Perfect Blue (1997) - Satoshi Kon
Schindler's List (1993) - Steven Spielberg
